EVENT DESCRIPTION: 1/6 scale military action figure show, complete with vendors, exhibitors, and other attractions
For Whom: Anyone of any age that has an interest in Military History, Re-enacting, and the collecting, kitbashing, and displaying of military history ( and other things ) with 1/6 scale figures, vehicles, and other supporting items. Other scales are also included. Should prove to be of interest to Model Building fans, Toy and Doll Collectors as well.
When: November 14th Friday 10AM-9PM, 15th Saturday 10AM-5PM, 16th Sunday Noon – 5PM 2008

Why: ( Reasons to attend ) Displays of various 1/6 scale action figures and vehicles, many 1/6 dealers with related items, 1/6 manufacturers, a chance to meet other 1/6 hobbyists in a family friendly setting, plus the regular attractions of the Fort, and being based in historic Ft. Thomas. Minutes from downtown Cincinnati, Riverboat Row and Newport on the Levee entertainment center. Close to the Air Force Museum in Dayton OH and Patton Museum at Ft Knox KY. The money raised is meant to raise money for a new Ft. Thomas Military Museum.
Other Information: Tied in with other events: Proceeds from admission/rentals to help create a new military museum, Culmination of Veterans Day week and a salute to Veterans, Friday from 10AM –3PM will be for 5th and 6th grade kids from county school system. The SSCC will be doing workshops, explaining the hobby and pointing out historical details.
Pending: Full scale military vehicles, Saturday night USO dance open to the public, WW2 Re-enactors, Famous WW 2 Vet Appearances

-To the Show only: under age 12 Free: 13 and up $2.00 each or $5 per family,
-To the USO Dance: TBA
The SS-CC will make this event known on various online hobby forums, and will help in getting info to the national magazines that also deal with this hobby.
ANY Vendor or Exhibitor wanting tables provided for them by the City of Fort Thomas is charged a per table fee of $20, which is good for the entire run of the Show.
Chairs are available from the City of Fort Thomas as well as RENTAL tables.
All tables, chairs, and space is on a “first come first served” basis, and only those that complete the needed paperwork from the City of Fort Thomas will have their tables and such “locked in”.
